FIT Weekly Report- Week 6

What did you do this week?:
This week, I completed a poster about the project I have been doing for the past three weeks on how muons could be affected by the gravity of the earth. The poster included the background, procedures, and results of the experiment. This poster was also displayed on the QuarkNet website. I also started a larger project that would show if muons could be affected by electromagnetic fields.
Why did you do that?:
I have made a poster of my experiment on muons being affected on gravity and uploaded it on QuarkNet because it would allows others to see my work and learn more about muons and what kind of factors could be able to interfere with it. I started the larger project on muons and electromagnetic fields because it could show if the number of muons in our atmosphere could be affected by diiferent factors.
What are you doing next?:
Next, I will be preparing a short presentation of the two projects I have done over the past few weeks. It would include the experiments of muons being tested with temperature and of muons being tested by gravity. The presentation would be presented to a science teacher.
Why are you doing that?:
I will present my projects because it would bring interest and awareness of cosmic rays and muons to others. This could have others start wanting to learn more about the subject and want to also do experiments on muons or cosmic radiation.
