g-2 Short Tutorial

The Muon g-2 experiment measures the magnetic moment of the muon with high precision. The results are, well, interesting.

Workshop Tutorial for Teachers

Divide into groups. Each group is assigned 1-2 questions. We discuss finding after.

Questions: 

1. What do we mean by g-2? (Hint: It is not 7.81 m/s².)
2. What is the current measured value of g-2 and why is it significant?
