Weekly Report 5

What did you do this week?:
This week I continued collecting data on the ozone experiment wtih the muon counts. The ozone readings have been going up and down, but nothing drastic. Every half hour from 8:30 to 2:30 I have been taking readings of the muon counts and recording them. I have also been taking overnight readings and uploading them to quarknet.
Why did you do that?:
If I want a decent experiment with decent data and results, I need to have a large enough sample size and the more readings I take of ozone and the muon counts, the better the sample size will be for my experiment.
What are you doing next?:
Next week I will be graphing all of the new recorded data and finding a correllating coefficient to see if the readings depend on each other. To see if there's and correlation between them. I will also either make a new poster on my new results, or contribute to my older one with and updated report. The overnight uploads will continue until thursday, my second to last day working with quarknet.
Why are you doing that?:
I need to upload my data, to publish it so it can be used by other researchers to understand what might be causeing the muon counts to fluctuate the way they do.
