The zip package at the bottom contains the following software:
- The 2014 (most stable) version of Java-based EQUIP. Read the README file!
- The "rxtxserial.dll" file, which - if you are running a 64 bit operating system (likely) - replaces the file of same name inside the EQUIP folder
- The 6000 series detector user manual. Some parts are outdated, but you can usually tell which parts. Anywhere it tells you to type a terminal command, you'd click a button inside EQUIP instead.
- The PPT and Excel files used for "plateauing' aka calibrating the 4 channels
Not included: the OLD versions of Java that plays nicely with the 2014 version of EQUIP - which is the only stable combination I've gotten to work. Java 6 seems to work best and you can find it on the Oracle archive page. They make you log in, so if you don't want to create an account here are links to Java 6 and Java 7 downloads that point to my Google Drive.
