2026 JHU Workshop Agenda

First things first: please register for the workshop.

Complete QuarkNet national survey. There are two different surveys - please read carefully.

1. If you have NOT completed the full QN survey in 2024 or 2025, fill out the full survey.

2. If you HAVE done the full survey, you only need to do the update survey.

Introduction to neutrino oscillations

Extra stuff

--Greg H pointed out that there's a nice correspondence to basic oscillation stuff we teach in classrooms. Here's a Colab notebook designed to tap into that exact correspondence!

--Diego mentioned that he hasn't come across anyone who could explain that CP violating plot very well. I uploaded the plot to Claude and asked for an explanation. I think Diego was right, but gained a bit of understanding after I asked for the ELI5 version. Here're the responses in case you want to read.
